For close to 20 years we have provided Sustainable Design services within a range of construction budgets for Residential and Commercial building in Traditional, Contemporary, Heritage Architecture & Interior Design styles.
DESIGN SERVICE REPORTS | SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
A Design Service Report, is suited to new building design for residential homes, unit development, town house, apartment development, and new commercial workplace or new retail shop design. The service provides a sketch design masterplan tailored to new building designs and provides Town Planning investigation (if required), Building Permit Application requirements and an indication of a budget you may require.
DESIGN SERVICE REPORTS | SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
Design Service Reports, fall into one of two options. Design Service Report | Ground Level, is for ground level only or Design Service Report | Ground & First Level, combines two storey (or more) new residential or commercial buildings. Both Design Service Reports assess and propose Sustainable Design measures to the degree a client desires. The service provides direction toward specific energy demand and building performance objectives. These objectives can be assessed with budget, quality and timing issues to determine project feasibility.

We are NatHERS Energy Rating Assessors, with experience in domestic new homes, home renovation, multi unit development, medium density and apartment building. We also work with international energy rating software to optimise the performance of energy efficiency building design. We hold the Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment qualification.

Design Ecologies P/L Environmental Sustainable Architecture formerly a Melbourne-based ESD Green Sustainability Architecture firm is now a project based studio within MAIArchitects | Robert Marcuccio Architects. We continue to focus on measurable architectural sustainability targets that deliver on the synthesis of design aesthetics and building energy performance with clients who desire specific ESD architecture and / or interior design outcomes. Mullum Creek House
Energy Rating 7.5 Stars. Acting as a contract consultant architect and interior designer for a drafting firm. The two storey home re-design required the Mullum Creek Development Guideline 7.5 Star Energy Rating. This was achieved with a strong background in passive house design and active renewable technology principles. Role: Architecture Design, Interior Design & Energy Rating Consultant.
Fairfield Townhouse
Controlling west facing building from harsh summer is a challenge. This Fairfield Townhouse Development develops a mid 20th century idea of the brise soliel with a contemporary western red cedar facade.
